Our service simply supplies you with the names and addresses, along with other tools to help you, of women who have expressed an interest in meeting an Western man. Our service is absolutely no different than any other reputable singles service except that it has an international, foreign focus. It is actually up to the women to respond to your letter and the two of you to develop a relationship. We strive to help bring people together who really want to form a loving, caring, and lasting relationship no matter what region of the world they may be from.

Is there a charge for the women who participate on your service?

No. The service is free of charge for the women. By not charging them to be on our service we are able to bring you a greater number and cross-section of people from which to choose. For the most part however, the women on our service could easily afford a nominal fee to be there. We have people from all walks of life including doctors, teachers, scientists, business people, farmers, etc.

Is language a barrier?

Most of the men and women who have used our services have not found this to be a problem. First of all, a large number of these women either speak English fairly well at differnent levels of fluency, or at least have a working knowledge of English (you will see this noted on their profile if they provide this information to us). Additionally, they are very eager and capable of quickly learing. You will also find that many of these women speak other languages as well such as German, French, Swedish, etc. Nearly all of these women have friends or family members who speak English fleuntly and can assist them with translation if necessary. They expect to receive letters in English (or other languages) and will normally already have resources for translation if their English skills are not as strong. It is not a bad idea to perhaps have some basic information translated to include in your initial letter. Many women will consider this very thoughtful (DON'T use it as a form letter - see our "Letter Writting Tips") but it is not by any means a necessity.
As far as a barrier in the relationship, again, we have not seen this as a huge problem with couples that have come together through our service. Communication is absolutely essential in any successful relationship but love is a huge motivation. Personally, as your host with my own experience in this, I felt it added to the romance of the situation. My wife spoke fair English at best. I found myself working that much harder to be certain that she understood what I was trying to say and so did she. I saw this as a benefit relative to communication when you consider that we all often become complacent in our conversations and presume that the other party understands what we are trying to say - when often they don't. Equally, I found that I was much more thoughtful and dilligent with my correspondence to her during the periods when we were apart. She now speaks fluent English.
But if you, personally, see this as potentially an uncomfortable barrier there are many, many women on our service who speak English very well (or whatever your native language may be) and this would not even be an issue. Simply be selective when browsing the profiles and chose only the women who indicate reasonble English skills. Just, however, a final word on this from the wise. What kind of a response will I receive?

That really depends on you. It is important that you read the bio-data information about the women you intend to correspond with. Are the addresses I receive current?

We strive to continually update our data and pride ourselves on keeping our information on these women as absolutely current as possible. Each week we place now more than 200 new profiles on "This week's new profiles" pages, or more than 10,000 new profiles each year. Normally, we have had these new profiles only 7 to 10 days before they become active on our service. We offer the largest and most current database of profiles available in the world. Our phone translation services & phone invitation services for tour socials allow us to be in constant contact with many of the women listed on the site. When we are made aware of an address that is no longer valid we immediately remove it from our list. We instruct the men and women on our service to notify us of any address or status changes so that we may update our records promptly. Obviously, we cannot gaurantee that each and every address is deliverable however we will replace any address with another that is returned as undeliverable.

Do you provide email addresses for the women?

At one point, we used to provide email addresses if the women made them available to us. However, we quickly found that nearly all of the email addresses provided were not good which generated numerous customer compliants. The large majority of these women simply don't have regular or reliable access to online resources that perhaps we are used to. We found that, even though they would send email addresses to us, the email accounts were very often not maintianed, checked or even correct in the first place. Therefor, we stopped providing them. The home physical addresses are far and away much more reliable. Our "Express Mail Forwarding Service" offers and excellent opportunity to utilize the Internet to deliver letters and pictures to these women (and in return to you) within normally a matter of days.

Do you provide phone numbers for the women?
A:
We do not provide phone numbers for the women and we also do not sell them like many other services. The reason for this is simple. Early on, we decided that it would be irresponsible for us to publish or distribute the phone numbers for the women. This would potentially subject them to an unkown number of phone calls, perhaps at all hours of the day. If the phone calls become unwanted or irritating, it simply is not an easy task for these women to simply change their phone numbers in many of their countries. We leave this decision completely up to the women to disclose their phone number directly to you if they feel comfortable doing so. You will find that nearly all of the women that will respond to your letters will immediately include a phone number for you. Additionally, if you would like to call her immediately, you can use our "Conference Calling Service" and she will be free, at her option, to give you her phone number during that call.

Should I send money to the women I correspond with to help with their expenses?

That is of course entirely up to you; however, we recommend that you do not. If the woman with whom you are corresponding is really interested in you then she will certainly respond without any financial incentive. If you really want to help with the cost of postage (most women and men on our service can easily afford this cost), we suggest that you send stamps or "International Postage Coupons" as opposed to cash. You can obtain these coupons very inexpensively at your local post office. Your natural inclination may often be to want to help these women if they need it without being offensive.
